Library: Off-site (Outside the Library)Maureen brings her “crystal clear voice” and “warm stage presence” to an engaging program of treasured songs of the season and along with some Great American Standards. Favorites include the 1956 Bing Crosby hit Let It Snow along with 1956’s Vic Damone’s #1 record On The Street Where You Live, classics such as Silver Bells and Winter Wonderland. What about the 1957 holiday favorite Jingle Bell Rock along with 1957’s popular hit’s Elvis’s Love Me Tender and Billy Williams I’m Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter. This is a holiday show interspersed with some Broadway hits and jazzy swing! Who could forget Bing Crosby’s 1942 holiday hit White Christmas along with Doris Day’s 1942 #1 Hit Sentimental Journey. Or how about I’ll Be Home For Christmas and 1960’s jazz hit Take 5. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
