Chado, the Japanese Way of Tea, is a spiritual practice based on integrating the principles of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquilty into one’s everyday life through the simple act of making and sharing a bowl of tea. In Japan, the practice of Chado is sometimes known as chanoyu (literally "hot water for tea") and in the West is commonly referred to as the "tea ceremony." Please join members of the Urasenke Chicago Association for a presentation of chanoyu and the opportunity to share tea together. REGISTER
