A Safe Look at the Sun!

 Ever wonder why a rainbow is different colors? How about why the sun is red at the horizon, but not when itís high in the sky? Come learn about the sun! We'll begin inside the library for a brief talk about sunspots, solar flares, solar wind, and even some crazy myths. Then, walk outside where the Lake County Astronomical Society volunteers will have specialized solar telescopes for safely looking at the sun. No registration needed. In case of clouds or rain, this program will be held tomorrow, Thursday, July 12.
